Gradient maps are a fantastic way to add colour and contrast to an icon, so I wrote a basic tutorial on how to use them. Since it's not the "from... to..." kind of walk-through, here are a few examples of icons that rely on gradient maps for their colour:



They're one of the easiest to use, yet most versatile tools Photoshop has to offer, in my opinion. Detailed tutorial for PS CS that should work for beginner to medium skills, right over here.

  I watched recently for the first time the 1980 version of P&P and absolutely loved it. Elizabeth Garvie is lovely as Elizabeth Bennet and David Rintoul was an excellent Darcy. He even smiled at the 2nd proposal scene! 

Does anybody have by chance screencaps of P&P 1980?

It would be lovely if we all could enjoy it.
