I host some of my icons on my free Photobucket account and am given 10gigs of bandwidth/month. If my bandwidth is exceeded all of my icons will be replaced by "error" messages and won't be viewable again until the bandwidth resets at the beginning of the new month.

So if you hotlink images you're using my Photobuket bandwidth and making it more likely that my images will be replaced with "error" messages.

How To Know if You're Hotlinking: If you want an image to put on your own site, you right click that image and copy the URL and paste it into your own site. That is hotlinking.

What To Do Instead of Hotlinking: If you want an image to put on your own site, right click & 'save as' the image to your own hard drive. Then upload that image to your own photo hosting account. I recommend Photobucket.
